The Wild Muse Nature Writing Prize is open for entries on 1st June 2026.
Submission Guidelines
- Theme: Nature’s Wisdom and Healing
- Open to all, anywhere in the world; no age restrictions
- Max word count 2,000 words
- Entries should be original, unpublished works, and written in English
- We accept multiple applications per entrant
- Entries must be anonymous (no name on entry nor in file name)
Entry fee: £10 (Bursaries available)
Prizes:
- 1st prize: £750
- 2nd prize: £300
- 3rd prize: £150
Deadline: 14th September 2026
