The Ockham New Zealand Book Awards 2027 are open for entries.
Submission Guideline
- For books published between 1 January and 31 August, submissions are now open until 5 pm on Wednesday 2 September.
- For books published between 1 September and 31 December, online submissions will open on Thursday, 3 September and close at 5 pm on Thursday, 15 October.

Judges: Millie Blackwell (convenor); novelist, writer and reviewer Linda Burgess; and award-winning author and writing teacher Shilo Kino (Ngāpuhi, Ngāti Maniapoto, Ngāti Te Ata)
