Our online writing courses do not run in real time and you do not have to be online at a set time or day. Your tutor will email you a new module (text lesson) and assignment once a week. You will have one week to complete the weekly assignment. Your tutor will provide written feedback on all assignments.

Our online writing courses are flexible and you can participate at any time, from anywhere in the world.

Our courses are user-friendly. You just need internet access. The tutor will email you a new module and assignment every week. You just need to read that email, read the module, write the assignment and email the assignment for feedback.

Yes. Your tutor will email you written feedback on your assignments once a week.

You don’t need previous writing experience to take most of our courses. If you do need previous writing experience, you will see this on the course description.

If you are not sure which course to take, you can contact us and we’ll be happy to help you choose the best course for you.

If you need to withdraw from a course, please contact us at least two weeks before the course starts. We will then provide a full refund less a $10 administration fee.

If you withdraw from the course less than two weeks before the course starts, unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund.

If you wish to withdraw from a course, please email us at info@creativewriting.co.nz. Informing a tutor does not constitute withdrawal.

We reserve the right to cancel courses due to low student registration. If we cancel a course, students will receive a full refund.

Students can expect to spend two to three hours every week on the course.
