The One Teen Story competition is open for entries.

Submission Guidelines

• Open to writers ages 13-19.
• Accepting original, unpublished fiction about the teen experience.
• Open genre: literary, fantasy, sci-fi, love stories, horror, etc.
• Word count: 2,000 to 4,500 words
• Previously published stories and stories forthcoming at other publications cannot be considered.

Entry fee: Free to enter

Prizes: The winning stories will be published on their website and receive $500 upon publication. The contest winners will also have the opportunity to work with a One Teen Story editor prior to publication.

Deadline: 1 December, 2025
