The Autumn Voices Poetry Competition 2025 is open for entries.

Submission Guidelines

• This year’s theme is ‘PLAY’.
• All entrants must be aged 60 or over by the closing date for the competition (Sunday 30th November 2025).
• Entrants can live anywhere in the world.
• Multiple poem entries are permitted. No single poem should be more than 30 lines (excluding the title).
• Poems must be written in English or Scots and must be your own work. No poems submitted should have been previously published.

Judge: Anne Macleod

Entry fee: £6 for one poem; £10 for two poems; £13 for three poems

Prizes: £220 for the winner, £110 for the runner-up, and book bundles for commended entries.

Deadline: 30th November.
