Creative Writing Course for Teenagers

With Olive O’Brien. Starting 13/10/2020

Start Date: 13th October 2020

Our courses are in huge demand and are filling up very quickly, so we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.

This online creative writing course for teenagers fits in with the student’s timetable, as you don’t need to be online at a specific time or day. You will receive weekly notes and assignments over the course of six weeks. Your tutor will read every assignment and provide written feedback on the weekly assignments.

Module 1: the importance of observation and the five senses.

Module 2: In the second week, we’ll look at what makes successful characters in fiction.

Module 3: Point of View. Each piece of writing comes from a particular point of view. Who is telling the story?

Module 4: We’ll take a look at what you have to think about when you’re plotting a story and how to end a story.

Module 5: How to write effective dialogue. We’ll also look at setting.

Module 6: Revision and how to get your work into print.
